Neiman Marcus & Target Collaborate! Merry Christmas to All!

So you thought you had Target and Neiman's all figured out didn't you? Well you don't.  The mega retailers have just announced that they will be collaborating for a Holiday collection hitting stores December 1st.  This is a first as the collection will feature 24 designers and will be carried in both stores. That's right, you can get it at Target or at Neiman Marcus {and both online as well!} and get this, it's all the same things, same prices. If you aren't as giddy as a school girl right now then I don't think you have a pulse!  I am going to start saving now, this might be the most exciting Target collaboration EVER and I honestly don't know how they would ever top this... ever.

The 24 designers are as follows {I squeal with each one I read... I think you might do the same!}

Alice + Olivia
Altuzarra
Band of Outsiders
Brian Atwood
Carolina Herrera
Derek Lam
Diane Von Furstenberg
Eddie Borgo
Jason Wu
Judith Leiber
Lela Rose
Marc Jacobs
Marchesa
Oscar de la Renta
Philip Crangi
Prabal Gurung
Proenza Schouler
Rag & Bone
Robert Rodriguez
Rodarte
Skaist-Taylor
Thom Browne
Tory Burch
Tracy Reese

I can't wait for the look book to get here! Although it might make me cry.... {tears of joy obvi}.

As New York Mag put it so perfectly, it's basically the CFDA's Christmas party invite list {which is interesting since Target & Neiman Marcus are donating $1mil to the CFDA}. The collection will be about 50 items and range anywhere from $7.99 to $499 and can be anything from women's, children's, men's, sporting goods, home, etc etc.

I would camp out for this. Anyone want to camp out with me? Merry Christmas to Molly!

xoxo,
Molly

New Orleans Packing :: Lusting Over...

So I am headed to the great state of Louisiana early tomorrow morning and I couldn't be more excited.  Louisiana is one of my favorite states, especially Baton Rouge and New Orleans.  I come back 10 pounds bigger because the food is so great and in such a good mood because everyone is insanely nice.  Whenever I head to New Orleans I wish I had a closet full of DVF.  Don't ask me why but I think the prints, colors, and bodies would be perfect for roaming Bourbon and Magazine Street.  Someday I will go there and wear the fabulous dresses I envision the wind blowing through, but for now I will wear my maxi dresses and dream.

This is what I would wear on my Louisiana adventure if my bank account would allow...

A girl can dream can't she?

I am going to take as many pictures as possible for the short and busy time I'm there and try to convince the rest of the world why New Orleans is one of my favorite places on earth...

xoxo,
Molly
